17a-4’s Skype for Business DataParser is a lightweight middleware solution for compliance.  Microsoft Skype for Business data is automatically retrieved for retention in an archive.  The DataParser manages ingestion into Office 365, Exchange or an email archive to create a single repository for compliance management, discovery and supervisory procedures.

Microsoft’s Skype for Business (Lync/OCS) is an extremely effective platform for managing, among other forms of communications, instant messages.  The Skype for Business DataParser software runs as a service to query the archiving database.  IM content, including RTF and HTML is formatted into .eml or other compatible archival e-messaging file formats.
