Microsoft 365 data connectors import non-Microsoft, third-party data from messaging, text, and document collaboration platforms. Once ingested into Microsoft 365 you can use Purview’s Content Search, Communication Compliance, Information Governance, Audit and Advanced eDiscovery.
As a long-time partner to Microsoft, we’ve worked closely with the Microsoft Connectors team to develop support for sending DataParser supported data sources into M365 Purview. All sources are supported including Slack, Zoom, Webex and more.
As with all archive partners, DataParser ensures all data being sent into the archive is indexable and searchable via typical eDiscovery queries such as keywords/lexicons, time/date stamps and file names.

Microsoft Purview is a comprehensive set of solutions that helps your organization govern, protect, and manage data. All DataParser supported platforms can be ingested into Microsoft 365 Purview to ensure that your organization’s non-Microsoft data is in compliance with the regulations and standards that affect your organization.
One primary benefit of using data connectors to import and archive third-party data in Microsoft 365 is that you can apply various Microsoft 365 compliance solutions to the data after it’s been imported. Retention Policies, Content Search, Communications Compliance, Information Governance, Audit and Advanced eDiscovery can all be used with any DataParser supported data source including Zoom, Slack, Webex, Bloomberg, Symphony and more.
DataParser lets you bring all your chats and documents into M365 Purview to streamline compliance management and create a unified archive.
DataParser is configured by 17a-4 Support to connect to your Slack, Zoom, Webex or other chat or collaboration system to automatically collect your data and send it into M365. Once in M365 Purview, retention and supervision policies can be applied to the data and eDiscovery procedures can be followed, just like emails and other items in the M365 archive.

Use the DataParser to import and archive data from the Zoom platform to user mailboxes in your Microsoft 365 organization. The DataParser is configured to capture items from Zoom APIs and import those items to Microsoft 365. The Zoom DataParser connector converts Zoom data to an email message format and then imports those items to user mailboxes in Microsoft 365.
After Zoom data is stored in user mailboxes, you can apply Microsoft 365 compliance features. Using a Zoom connector to import and archive data in Microsoft 365 can help your organization stay compliant with government and regulatory policies.
